Q. Do I need to be a photographer?

No. Our tours are suitable for everyone. If you are an amateur or enthusiast, we give workshops and tutoring appropriate to your skill level. If you are a professional, we put you in a position to get great photographs.


Q. Do I Need an SLR Camera?

No. You don't need an SLR camera. However we do recommend an SLR camera with lenses covering a range from wide angle to a good zoom for the best results.


Q. Are flights to and from South Africa included in the tour price?

No. Flights to and from the tour destinations are not included in the tour price. However, the price does include all accommodation, transport and meals from when the tour commences, until the tour finishes.

Q. Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. Although we take the utmost care and have set out our itineraries for maximum comfort and safety, travelling anywhere in the world always have some degree of risk involved. Be sure to take out a good travel insurance policy.


Q. What will I learn?

We assess what your skill level is and work from there. We cover many aspects of working as a professional photographer, pitching photo and story ideas to editors as well as book publishers. We also have workshops and critique sessions where everyone on the tour learns from one another. Most importantly, you have access to two working professional photographers for 10 days to ask as many questions as you like.
