Drawing on two decades of combined professional photographic experience internationally and having grown up in South Africa, Morné and Keturah de Klerk now want to share their knowledge and love of this magnificent country while utilising & endorsing the practices of Responsible Tourism.
In 2010 Morné & Keturah exhibited a photography project on grass-roots football in South Africa, a project which was published as a book in South Africa, in time for the World Cup, by Art Publishers; Africa's Beautiful Game. MornéMorné
was born in Namibia and lived in South Africa, where he attended the prestigious National College of Photography in Pretoria.
Morné worked as a photographer at News Limited in Adelaide, South Australia. He then established Photography Life with Keturah. His work includes editorial and commercial assignments as well as Editorial work for Getty Images as their sole contracted photographer in South Australia. He also works as freelance photographer for News Limited and Fairfax Press, winning media awards for his sport photography. As a finalist in the ANZANG Photography Awards his picture was published and exhibited in Museums around Australia as part of the ANZANG travelling exhibition. Morne has also won various awards in the South Australian Professional Photography Awards. Morné works for a range of commercial clients and has shared his passion of photography with others through tutoring and photographic tours around Adelaide. Morné grew up in the Kalahari and is truly passionate about showing this spectacular, and often missed area off to the rest of the world. He has worked in the Photographic industry for nearly a decade and has won various awards, had a book published as well as held various exhibitions. He has had countless of pictures published in magazines and newspapers around the world. |
Keturah
Keturah was born in Australia, growing up in Adelaide
where she completed school and university. She studied photography at
the North Adelaide School of Art.
In 2003, she undertook further studies at the Creative Centre for Photography. She has worked as a freelance photographer for clients including newspapers, magazines and picture agencies as well as commercial entities. A graduate in Education, Keturah has also taught at the Adelaide College of TAFE. Keturah was a semi-finalist in the international Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. In 2011 she was shortlisted in the prestigous Head On Portrait Prize & consequently featured in the 2011 Head On Photo Festival. She has fallen in love with her adopted country of South Africa and strives to show its beauty to the rest of the world. They both have extensive travel experience in Southern Africa and world wide. Keturah has exhibited her pictures in galleries and has had a photography book published. |
